The Government of Pará celebrates one year since the delivery of the paving of the Tauarizinho Road, in the municipality of Peixe-Boi, located in the Integration Region of the Caeté River, northeastern Pará. The work, awaited for decades by the population, was realized by the state administration. A strategic investment in mobility, integration, and infrastructure, benefiting hundreds of families and boosting regional development.

The service was carried out through an agreement between the State Government and the Peixe-Boi city hall, with resources from the state treasury. More than 9 kilometers of paving were executed, ensuring adequate conditions for the flow of agricultural production, as well as improving the movement of people and goods with more speed and safety.
The state secretary of Infrastructure and Logistics, Adler Silveira, highlighted the reach of the intervention.

“The delivery of the Tauarizinho Road is the result of the State Government's commitment to bringing quality infrastructure to all regions. By investing in works like this, we expand mobility, ensure more road safety, and create conditions for the population to access new development opportunities. It is a state policy that strengthens regional integration and improves people's lives,” said Adler.

A new, more dignified and safe reality

Residents also recognize the improvements. Farmer Ana Lúcia Gomes, 40 years old, a resident of Vila Tauarizinho, says that the paving has put an end to years of difficulty. “This road was a dream. Before, in the winter, it was too muddy, the road was dangerous and slow. Today the reality is different; we can move around with peace and safety. This has brought happiness and dignity to all of us,” she said.

Retiree Paulo Ferreira, 73 years old, a resident of Peixe-Boi, said that the work has ensured more comfort and accessibility. “I always visit friends in Vila Tauarizinho. Before it was dust and potholes, but today the access is excellent. This road has made a difference for everyone,” he reported.

As it completes one year since its delivery, the Tauarizinho road consolidates itself as a landmark of integration and development for the Caeté River region, reaffirming the role of the Government of Pará in promoting structural investments that ensure mobility, safety, and quality of life for the population.
