The Department of Traffic of the State of Pará (Detran-PA) announced, this Wednesday, the 3rd, the list of 600 women classified in the special edition of the social program CNH Pai D’égua Atypical Mothers. With the publication of the preliminary result, the approved candidates are eligible to proceed to the next stages outlined in the notice, which include the analysis of appeals, delivery of passports, and subsequently, the enrollment phase.

Launched in May 2025, this special edition of the program aims to provide more autonomy, mobility, and social inclusion for mothers who dedicate a large part of their routine to caring for children with disabilities. By ensuring the free issuance of the National Driver's License (CNH), the program seeks to expand the opportunities for these women, especially in accessing the job market and daily commuting for personal and family activities.

The initiative is a step forward in strengthening socially inclusive traffic public policies, reaching families that often face financial barriers to start the licensing process.

The list of candidates includes more than 80 municipalities in Pará, covering various regions of the state. Subsequently, on September 10, the final list of classified candidates will be published, which will initiate the process of delivering passports, followed by the enrollment of candidates approved in this phase of the program.

Detran advises all candidates to pay attention to the dates in the notice and check the required documentation to avoid compromising the continuity of the process. The complete list of classified candidates and all documents that must be presented are available on the websites cnhp.detran.pa.gov.br and www.detran.pa.gov.br.

Previous phases and program expansion

The registrations and enrollments for the phase designated for Belém and the Metropolitan Region have already been completed. In that stage, the approved atypical mothers candidates are already in the licensing process and have one year to complete the deadline set by the program.

With this expansion to the municipalities in the interior, the State Government, through the Social Program CNH Pai D’égua, reaffirms its commitment to bringing inclusion and citizenship to all regions of Pará, ensuring that atypical mothers, regardless of where they reside, can benefit from this public policy.
