The Government of Pará carried out, this Wednesday (3), another major health and citizenship action with the delivery of more than 700 prescription glasses to residents of Ananindeua, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém. The action took place at the Labaredas de Fogo Temple, in the Cidade Nova II neighborhood, benefiting people who underwent consultations and ophthalmological exams during the programming of the "Por Todas Elas" project.

Governor Helder Barbalho, who participated in the delivery of the new vision equipment, highlighted the importance of bringing public services closer to the population. "It is very important that the Government can be close to the population, serving those who need it most. The Por Todas Elas program is aimed at families and women, with various services for the population, including ophthalmological care. This is what we are doing, bringing quality of life through better vision, as glasses allow people to see better," he stated.

The Vice Governor of Pará, Hana Ghassan, reinforced the relevance of the action, highlighting the direct impact that glasses have on people's lives. "Glasses make a difference in people's daily lives, whether for studying, working, or performing simple tasks at home. It is essential that everyone maintains annual care with ophthalmological consultations, ensuring healthy and quality vision. And I want to emphasize that the Por Todas Elas program will not stop, because our commitment is to continue bringing services and opportunities to the families of Pará," she emphasized.

Among the beneficiaries, housewife Eliete Silva, 54, did not hide her joy upon receiving her new glasses. "I was already having a lot of difficulty seeing, even reading was complicated. Now I will be able to do my things with more peace of mind. I am very happy with this support. The project came to provide us with the best, I am very grateful," she said.

Meanwhile, resident of the Cidade Nova neighborhood, Valéria Queiroz, 28, needed to change her glasses and secured the benefit during the ophthalmological consultations of the Por Todas Elas program. "These glasses will help me a lot, especially since the prescription of my glasses is very high. Many times we cannot afford to buy them, and receiving them for free makes all the difference. I am very thankful," she stated.

Por Todas Elas - Launched in 2024, the "Por Todas Elas" program has already totaled more than 160,000 services throughout Pará, offering over 30 types of free services in the areas of health, citizenship, and leisure. The initiative aims to expand access for Pará women and their families to essential services, as well as to reinforce female leadership in society and the construction of rights.

Service - People served in the action that took place in the Terra Firme neighborhood who could not attend the delivery this Wednesday (03) can, starting this Thursday (04), pick up their glasses directly at the Usina da Paz Prof. Amintas Pinheiro, located at Estrada do Icuí-Guajará, at the corner with Avenida Independência, in Ananindeua. It is necessary to present an official identification document.

In case of possible problems with the delivered glasses, interested parties should also seek the Usina da Paz do Icuí-Guajará to request the necessary corrections.
