Two men are caught in the act by the Civil Police for robbery in Bragança
They were charged with the crimes of aggravated robbery using a firearm and conspiracy, as well as illegal possession of a firearm.
The team from the Bragança Police Station arrested two men involved in a robbery using a firearm at a cell phone store on Wednesday night (3).
The crime occurred when the suspects entered the commercial establishment armed, holding employees and customers at gunpoint. They stole cell phones and a tablet. Investigations began immediately to locate the criminals by the police team.
“Our team learned about the crime through information exchange and immediately started the efforts. A blockade was set up at the Sapucaia bridge in Bragança, where the duo was apprehended.
At the time of the approach, one of them threw a bag into the Caeté river, which has not yet been found, but our searches continue to locate this bag and the weapon used by them,” detailed delegate Stefany Araújo, responsible for the case.
At the time of the crime, a black motorcycle was used, which was reported stolen last Monday and was located by the police team.
“The quick action of the police from the Bragança Police Station demonstrates the commitment of the Civil Police of Pará in swiftly combating crime. Possibly, the same vehicle was used by the duo to commit other crimes that will be investigated. The owner of the motorcycle will be contacted to have their property returned,” said delegate Rayrton Carneiro, head of the Regional Superintendence of Caeté.
The arrested individuals were charged in the act with the crimes of aggravated robbery using a firearm and conspiracy, as well as illegal possession of a firearm. After the usual procedures, they were made available to the Justice.
