State University (Uepa) registers for English and Spanish proficiency test
Exam recognized by various graduate programs will be held in October, with registrations open from September 8 to 13

The State University of Pará (Uepa), through the Pro-Rectorate of Extension (Proex) and the Coordination of the Degree in Letters – English Language, has published the announcement that regulates the registrations for the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam (PROFILEST), in English and Spanish. The exam is a common requirement in selection processes for graduate programs and in other higher education institutions.
Registrations will be open from September 8 to 13, 2025, exclusively through the website, access here. The registration fee is R$ 80.00 per exam, and candidates may choose to take both exams, upon payment of R$ 160.00. To complete the registration, it is necessary to attach an official photo identification document in PDF format.
The PROFILEST will be held on October 18, 2025, at the Center for Social Sciences and Education (CCSE) in Belém. The exams will last a maximum of three hours and will be conducted in separate shifts for each language. Candidates must bring an original official identity document and proof of registration on the day of the exam.
The assessment will consist of interpretation and comprehension of technical texts in the area of knowledge chosen by the candidate, among five major areas: Human and Social Applied Sciences; Linguistics, Letters, and Arts; Health and Biological Sciences; Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences; and Exact Sciences, Engineering, and Earth Sciences. The use of printed dictionaries will be allowed.
A candidate who achieves a minimum score of 8.0 will be considered approved. Preliminary results will be announced on November 28, 2025, with a deadline for appeals between December 1 and 2. The final result is expected on December 5, 2025.
