With 94% of the work completed, Nova Tamandaré has already removed the barriers from Block D, located between Ângelo Custódio and Dr. Malcher Streets. Now, those passing through the area can closely observe the progress of the services and public equipment that make up the Linear Park, one of the main structural interventions of the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30), which will take place in the capital of Pará in November.

With the work following the schedule, seven of the nine blocks have already had the barriers removed, allowing the population to see up close the work conducted by more than 300 workers. "This is another investment from the Government of Pará that will remain for the population after COP30," said the Deputy Secretary of Public Works of the State, Gilmar Mota.

New urban space - Block D is equipped with six pergolas, a pet area, two kiosks, an outdoor gym, urban furniture, and gathering areas. The space also includes a bike path, landscaping, trash bins, urbanization, and side roads with new asphalt, integrating leisure, contemplation, and circulation in the region.

The works of Nova Tamandaré, conducted by the State Secretariat of Public Works (Seop), cover the entire length of the Tamandaré Avenue Canal, approximately 1.4 kilometers. Services include paving, urbanization, landscaping, installation of walkways, and construction of five new sluices to control the flow of tides. In total, Nova Tamandaré will have kiosks, bike paths, playgrounds, areas for events and contemplation, in addition to the planting of 78 trees along its nine blocks, restoring the importance of the avenue for the population and creating a new meeting space.
