Codec and the City Hall of Castanhal discuss updating the Investor's Guide
In the second online meeting, state and municipal managers also addressed the progress of the Industrial Condominium
The Economic Development Company (Codec), an agency of the Government of Pará, and the City Hall of Castanhal held, on the afternoon of this Monday (8), the second meeting of the joint agenda to strengthen the local economy. In an online format, the meeting reinforced the need to update strategic tools developed by Codec, such as the Investor's Guide, and aligned actions that include conducting technical training in attracting investments and the advancement of the Industrial Condominium of Castanhal, a municipality in the Metropolitan Region of Belém.

The Institutional Relations Manager of Codec, Augusto César Anunciação, emphasized that updating the Guide is essential to provide clarity and confidence to the productive sector, and cited examples that already demonstrate the municipality's potential:
“The Investor's Guide needs to be redone, updated with the current reality of Castanhal. It is a document prepared by Codec that organizes strategic information, offers security to investors, and shows the municipality's potential. We already have entrepreneurs signaling interest in establishing themselves in Castanhal, such as those in the gravel sector, who are looking for an area near the exit of Belém. And our expectation is also to advance with a training phase, scheduled for early October, which will prepare the local team to conduct this process with autonomy and strategy,” informed the manager.

Infrastructure - Another highlighted point was the advancement of the Industrial Condominium of Castanhal, a Codec project that is already attracting the interest of companies and is in the environmental licensing phase. The project is expected to enhance the infrastructure to support business installations in the municipality.
The municipal secretary of Industry, Commerce, and Services, Eduardo Espinheiro, reinforced the management's interest in strengthening the condominium and advancing in partnership with Codec. “We are very attentive to the progress of the Industrial Condominium, which is a priority for Castanhal. We need to give visibility to this project because it will be decisive in attracting new companies, strengthening our productive base, and generating jobs for the population,” said Eduardo Espinheiro.
He also highlighted the importance of continuing the agenda, adding that “this is a construction that strengthens Castanhal. Today we advanced once again discussing the update of tools such as Codec's Investor's Guide, which will allow us to attract companies and create opportunities, and the expectation of holding a new meeting in early October, when we can advance with the technical training.”

Castanhal is projected as a territory of opportunities, where investors find information, security, and an environment prepared to grow, based on the work conducted by Codec.
The administrative coordinator of the Secretary of Industry, Commerce, and Services, Lucas Bezerra, who oversees the preparation of technical instruments and the economic planning of the municipality, also participated in the meeting.
