The State Secretariat for Environment, Climate and Sustainability of Pará (Semas) announces the opening of registrations for the Simplified Selection Process (PSS) No. 2/2025, aimed at the temporary hiring of professionals with high school and higher education in various areas. A total of 31 vacancies are being offered, with the possibility of forming a reserve list.
The announcement, published in the State Official Gazette last Wednesday (3), provides for vacancies for positions such as Environmental Assistant – Administrative Area, with a base salary of R$ 1,320.00, and for the positions of Environmental Analyst, Public Management Analyst, IT Analyst, and Infrastructure Analyst (Civil Engineering), which will have salaries of R$ 2,414.50, in addition to benefits.
Interested candidates can register for free until September 11, exclusively through the website www.sipros.pa.gov.br.
The vacancies are distributed in Belém and in the Regional Centers for Environmental Management and Regularity (Nure), located in the municipalities of Altamira, Itaituba, Paragominas, Redenção, and Santarém. The work schedule will be 6 hours a day, totaling 30 hours a week.
According to the Deputy Secretary of Administrative Management and Technologies of Semas, Lília Reis, the importance of the selection process arises to expand the agency's operations.
“This selection process is an opportunity to strengthen our team in strategic areas and ensure that environmental policies reach the population more efficiently throughout Pará,” said the deputy secretary.
To apply, it is necessary to fill out the online form and attach the documents proving education, experience, and qualifications. The contracts will be temporary, based on Complementary Law No. 07/1991 and relevant state and federal legislation.
The manager of Semas, Cinthia Coelho, joined through the PSS in 2023 and highlights the importance of the selection process as a gateway for new professionals and reinforcement of Semas' environmental policies.
“The PSS is a very important way to enter public service for those who have not yet achieved the long-desired position as a civil servant. My experience was quite smooth, with transparency from the agency and speed up to the hiring. The opportunity to enter through the selection process represented a way to demonstrate my professional capabilities, applying technical knowledge to deliver quality service. In addition, it opens space for professionals with experience and leadership profiles to contribute to Semas' actions, combining efforts for the execution of public policies, programs, and projects that unite sustainability, economic, social, and environmental development throughout the State,” she emphasized.
The PSS will be divided into three phases:
1st phase: registration (qualifying)
2nd phase: Document and Curriculum Analysis (eliminatory and classificatory)
3rd Personal interview (eliminatory and classificatory).
