The Public Regional Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), in Breves, held a special program in reference to the Yellow September campaign, on the 9th and 10th (Tuesday and Wednesday).

The action involved users, companions, and collaborators, and was organized by the Humanization Working Group (GTH). Activities included workplace gymnastics and interactive dynamics, aiming to strengthen care, welcome, and well-being within the institution.

For psychologist Joliane Cruz, who was involved in organizing the initiative, "the campaign aims to raise awareness and guide about the importance of mental health, quality of life, established relationships, and the prevention of mental illnesses and suicide. To break the taboos surrounding mental health and reduce stigmas, it is necessary to encourage people to seek help from qualified professionals," she emphasized.

Surprised by the hospital's initiative, Lucidalva dos Santos Nobres, 52, approved of the activities. "I am happy, the action was wonderful and important for our health. The service at the hospital is wonderful, the people are amazing, they welcome us and treat us well. Thank you," said the housewife.

In addition to outdoor activities, the action was also extended to users of the hemodialysis sector of HRPM. The unit's psychologist, Vinícius Vanzaler, highlighted that, in addition to medical care and nursing assistance, patients undergoing treatment receive continuous psychological support throughout the year.

"The follow-up aims to provide qualified listening, emotional support in the face of limitations imposed by chronic illness, and strengthening self-esteem, helping with the adaptation to the routine of sessions and coping with the anxieties that arise during the process. This humanized attention directly contributes to improving the quality of life, promoting not only physical well-being but also the emotional balance of patients," explained Vinícius Vanzeler.

Student Josiele de Souza Pantoja, 25, shared her gratitude for the welcome she received at the service. "Here I feel welcomed and trust the team. I think it's good, I feel so well because everyone talks to me. The service is great, the nursing team is excellent, I am well treated and cared for," said the patient, who has been undergoing treatment for over two years and highlights the trust bond built with health professionals.
