More than 600 students participate in the "aulão" of the Enem Pará program, from Seduc
The action is part of the State Government's strategy to strengthen the preparation of public school students for the Enem

More than 600 third-year high school students participated, this Friday (12), in the "aulão" promoted by the State Department of Education (Seduc), through the Enem Pará program, held at Faculdade Ideal, in Belém.
The initiative aims to reinforce the content covered in the National High School Exam (Enem) and expand access opportunities to higher education, directly benefiting students from the state public network, including those who have already completed high school and dream of entering university.
In the "aulões", all areas of knowledge tested in the exams are covered: Languages, Human Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics, with a special focus on the skills that performed below expectations in the last assessments.
The Deputy Secretary of Regime and Collaboration (Searc), Diego Maia, emphasizes that the central objective is to strengthen the education of students in the state network.
“Our primary goal is to strengthen the education of our students in the state education network. We have developed actions in schools, in specific hubs, and also in the Usinas da Paz, with school reinforcement, simulations, and exercise resolution, all aimed at democratizing access to university. We have stories of people aged 50, 60 who have achieved this goal and are now in university, realizing the dream of obtaining a diploma and a profession,” he stated.
In addition to regularly enrolled students, users of the Usinas da Paz who have already completed high school also participate, such as Mrs. Sarah Maués, 57, who returned to studying to fulfill her dream of pursuing higher education.
“My dream is to enter college. I took the Enem in 2007, but I didn’t succeed. Now I am focused and making the most of these classes because it’s difficult to pay for a private course. The teachers are great, and this government initiative is wonderful. I am reviewing subjects I studied many years ago, and it has been a great learning experience,” she shared.

Young Helynnety Lopes, 18, a student in the 3rd year at EEEFM Paes de Carvalho, highlighted the impact of the initiative for those who cannot afford preparatory courses.
“It’s a great opportunity, especially for those who work and don’t have the time or means to take a preparatory course. Here we receive support to reinforce our studies and arrive more prepared for the Enem. I want to study Civil Engineering at a public university,” she said.
All the teachers who make up the Enem Pará team are from the state public network. Writing teacher Lia Carvalho emphasized the relevance of the initiative.

“Public school students have the opportunity to interact with experienced teachers who have been working with entrance exams for many years. We are giving tips, solving specific items, and reviewing essential content for the exam, complementing what students learn in their daily school life,” she explained.
Highlight in the Enem
The action is part of the set of strategies from the Department of Education to raise educational indices in the State and democratize access to higher education. In the 2024 Enem, the Pará state network achieved the best performance in the North region in the exam's writing section, with 295 scores above 950 points, ranking among the five best states in the country, according to data from the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP/MEC).
