Of the establishments visited, seven were notified for their owners to regularize the documentation and another four had their activities closed.

On the night of this Friday (12), the Civil Police of the State of Pará conducted patrols in central areas of Belém, along with other agencies that make up the state public security system, during the operation 'Impulsus', launched in the morning. "We have our agents gathered in an integrated manner, acting within their duties to reinforce security in the capital, as a way to maintain the perception of safety and social order for all," said the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense, Ualame Machado.

The action, integrated and coordinated by the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), took place in the neighborhoods of Umarizal, Nazaré, Campina, Reduto, Centro, Batista Campos, and Cidade Velha, carrying out systematic and diligent inspections to curb crime.
"The Civil Police acts in ostensive policing and also as a judicial police, receiving reports of any crimes identified during the two days that the operation 'Impulsus' takes place at the urban precincts of the capital. Several directorates of the PCPA work to maintain order and ensure the safety of the population," explained Raimundo Benassuly, the general delegate of the PCPA.

The Military Police, the Military Fire Brigade, the Scientific Police, the State Traffic Department (Detran), the State Secretary of Penitentiary Administration (Seap), the Municipal Secretary of Security, Public Order, and Mobility of Belém, and the Municipal Guard of Belém also acted during the approaches and inspections throughout the night.
"Bars, restaurants, concert halls, and other commercial establishments were also inspected to verify legal compliance and operating licenses, as well as to guide and combat crimes such as sexual exploitation, including child and adolescent exploitation, sexual harassment, gender violence, and any crimes involving vulnerable groups. Of the 36 establishments visited, seven were notified for their owners to regularize the documentation and another four had their activities closed due to total non-compliance," added the manager.

The teams from the Fire Brigade also conducted inspections regarding the safety of the locations, checking the validity of fire extinguishers, accessibility in case of emergencies, among other situations. The operation 'Impulsus' continues throughout Saturday and will last until early Sunday morning.
