Sefa seizes electronic parts worth R$ 317 thousand in Conceição do Araguaia
The sale presented the irregularity known as 'break of transit', when the invoice indicates one destination and the goods go to another

Inspectors from the Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa) seized six volumes of electronic parts due to an irregular invoice. The action was carried out by the team of state revenue inspectors from the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of Araguaia, in the southeastern state, on Monday (22). The goods were valued at R$ 317,887.80.
“The driver of a truck presented a transport document for goods that left Rio de Janeiro (RJ) destined for Minas Gerais (MG). However, during the inspection process, it was verified that the material sent to Pará would be internalized in Tucuruí, in southeastern Pará. The irregularity known as break of transit was confirmed, when the invoice indicates one destination and the goods are taken to another place,” explained the coordinator of the tax unit, Renato Couto.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued for a total amount of R$ 84,770.08, referring to the tax plus a fine, which was collected and the goods released.
