Government of Pará delivers about half a ton of food collected during the registrations for the 'Server's Gaze' contest

The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad), delivered on this Wednesday (24) the food collected during the registrations for the 'Server's Gaze' contest. The action will benefit people served by the beneficiary institutions that develop important social work for the community.
In total, about half a ton of non-perishable food was collected, which was destined for those in need, reinforcing the State's commitment not only to the appreciation of public servants but also to solidarity.
The Deputy Secretary of People Management of Seplad, Íris Negrão, who accompanied the delivery, highlighted the importance of the initiative.
"The 'Server's Gaze' initiative is a clear demonstration of how solidarity and creativity can walk together for an important cause. With the contribution of servants from various state government secretariats, we managed to collect about half a ton of food. These supplies represent more than just basic necessities; they are a gesture of welcome, care, and the State's commitment to serving those in need," pointed out the secretary.

Created by the Government of Pará, the 'Server's Gaze' contest seeks to value the artistic talent of state servants while promoting social responsibility actions.
For over 20 years, the Eurico Nelson Baptist Assistance Foundation (FASBEN) has welcomed people coming from other cities to Belém in search of medical treatment and who have nowhere to stay or cannot afford to remain in the capital.
"We serve an average of 60 people per month, and since FASBEN has been around for over 20 years, we have certainly helped more than 10,000 people. We thank the State Government for this help because these people come from the interior of the state, already fragile, and here we help with the basics, with shelter and food, and this donation will help us a lot," said Rosilândia Olimpio, vice president of FASBEN.

For Maria do Socorro Menezes, a housewife, the help received will be essential. "We are from Altamira and, for almost four years, I have been coming to Belém with my son, who is receiving treatment here in the capital. We are assisted by FASBEN. If it weren't for this support, many times we wouldn't even be able to come because it's difficult; we come from outside and have nowhere to stay. My son, for example, uses high-cost medication, which we receive from the State. This help is very important; it is a great blessing in the lives of those who need it. We can only thank God, the governor, and also the servants for this donation," thanked Maria do Socorro.
The São Vicente de Paulo Shelter is a long-term institution that welcomes elderly women in situations of social vulnerability, offering health care, food, hygiene, physical shelter, and emotional support.
"The shelter has been around for almost 90 years, and more than a thousand people have passed through here. We care for women over 60 years old, with the most diverse stories. So we would like to thank for this donation, as all forms of help are welcome. And sometimes, in the simplest way possible, you can assist. This is a sublime way to remember those in need," said Sylvia Cruz, manager of the São Vicente de Paulo Shelter.

With the delivery of donations, the Government of Pará reinforces its commitment to policies that unite the appreciation of the servant and social responsibility. Initiatives like this demonstrate that public administration can go beyond service management, acting sensitively and effectively in people's lives, providing support to those in need.
