Government-supported company from Pará is a finalist for the 2025 Social Entrepreneur Award
Based in Abaetetuba, in the Lower Tocantins, 100% Amazônia was selected for its 4.0 industry model, which develops innovative solutions from the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest.

The Pará-based industry 100% Amazônia, supported by the government of Pará through the
Secretariat of Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme), is a finalist
in the 21st edition of the 2025 Social Entrepreneur Award, in the category "Social Innovators of
the Year." The result will be announced during the award ceremony, which takes place this Tuesday (30), at Sala São Paulo, in the capital of São Paulo.
The award recognizes initiatives focused on nature-based solutions, energy transition, and resilient cities. The competition is held by Folha de S.Paulo, in partnership with the Schwab Foundation, and highlights impactful projects aimed at sustainability, resilience, and inclusion in Brazilian communities.
Based in Abaetetuba, in the Lower Tocantins, 100% Amazônia was selected for its 4.0 industry model, which develops innovative solutions from the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest. The company benefits from public policies of tax incentives promoted by the state government, aimed at attracting enterprises committed to sustainable development, job and income generation, and the appreciation of the regional socio-bioeconomy.

The Secretary of Economic Development, Mining and Energy, Paulo Bengtson,
highlights that Pará's tax incentive policy strengthens economic
and sustainable development, attracting investments and boosting the productive chains
of the state. Currently, 215 companies benefit from this initiative, distributed across
more than 55 municipalities in Pará, covering the twelve Integration Regions (RI).
“Tax incentives play a strategic role in strengthening the industrial sector, allowing local companies to enhance their competitiveness and contribute directly to the sustainable economic growth of Pará, stimulate industrial verticalization, and promote job and income generation,” says the head of Sedeme, Paulo Bengtson, who also chairs the State Incentives Policy Commission.
The Deputy Secretary of Sedeme, Carlos Ledo, emphasizes that the company 100% Amazônia is an example of sustainable action, adding value to the products of the Amazon rainforest and promoting the socioeconomic inclusion of riverside communities. “Its innovative industrial model reinforces the commitment to environmental preservation and regional development,” says the secretary.

With 16 years of operation, the company stands out for its continuous investment in sustainability and the appreciation of the regional socio-bioeconomy. Currently, it benefits more than 25 Amazonian botanical species — such as açaí, cocoa, buriti, andiroba, and cupuaçu — cultivated by family farmers and local cooperatives, applied in the food, beverage, and cosmetics sectors.
Its products are developed from sustainably extracted assets by more than 40 traditional communities in the Amazon. The company exports to over 70 countries, bringing the essence of the forest to the world. Regarding the company's nomination for the award, CEO Fernanda C. Stefani emphasizes that "this nomination is a recognition not only of the work of 100% Amazônia but also of the strength of the Pará socio-bioeconomy. Being among the finalists of the Social Entrepreneur Award reinforces our mission to generate value from Amazonian biodiversity with innovation, sustainability, and inclusion of traditional communities. It is a collective achievement that shows how Pará can be a protagonist in sustainable solutions for Brazil and the world.”
About the Social Entrepreneur Award

This year's edition features two categories aligned with the priority themes of the
Conference of the Parties (COP). The first, "Social Innovators of the Year," recognizes projects that
offer nature-based solutions, promote energy transition, and contribute to
the development of resilient cities. The second, "Inspiring Solutions," highlights
initiatives aimed at promoting human rights, citizenship, social and productive inclusion,
as well as actions that strengthen democracy and address gender and racial inequalities.
