The Governor Alexandre Zacharias de Assumpção State High School, located in the Guamá neighborhood of Belém, held the "Humanas in Saeb" project on Friday (3). Linked to the Regional Education Directorate (DRE) 5, the activity developed by full-time high school teachers, aimed at 3rd-year high school students, worked on activities with important themes for the Basic Education Assessment System (Saeb) that will be applied from October 20 to 31.

The exercises focused on the subjects that make up the area of Human Sciences, with support from the "Prepara Mais" notebooks. Student Thiago Trindade, from the 3rd year of high school, talks about the importance of promoting actions in these subjects for the Saeb test.

“I am participating, along with the third-year students, in an action promoted by the teachers of the Human Sciences Group of the School, in order to promote the importance of these subjects in the Saeb content. A test that we are giving special attention to, in order to promote the importance of this subject for our school and our development. Through these contents, we can see the importance they can bring both for the Saeb test and for our lives, and we are very honored and willing to learn through these contents,” said the student.

The event took place in the school's auditorium and brought together teachers of Sociology, History, Philosophy, and Geography to work on issues and descriptors of Portuguese Language and Mathematics related to these subjects.

Adriano Mesquita, the school director, pointed out the relevance of the activity for better preparation of students. “It is an action carried out in an interdisciplinary manner and specifically focused on the Saeb test that will take place at the end of this month,” said the school manager.

The head of DRE 5, Jones Barros, emphasizes that “in this year of 2025, Seduc innovated with the Prepara Mais notebook, a complementary material with activities and items that also integrates other areas of knowledge, such as Human Sciences and Natural Sciences, precisely with the aim of strengthening our students' learning for better results in the external assessment,” highlighted the DRE manager, Jones Barros.
