The logistics of applying the Unified National Public Competition (CPNU) exams, held this Sunday (5), occurred smoothly in Pará, with no incidents reported during the morning period. The operation was coordinated by the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), and involved the mobilization of more than 450 public security agents in 17 municipalities in Pará.

The actions began at 7 a.m., with the activation of the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC) at the Segup headquarters, and monitoring of the escorts at the 76 exam locations. Monitoring and data feeding were carried out by the Integrated Operations Center (Ciop). The delivery of the packages was the responsibility of the Postal Service, which, with the support of the Military Police of Pará (PMPA), completed the distribution by 11:22 a.m., within the scheduled timeline.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Ilanise Lisboa, security coordinator at Segup, the execution of the first stage occurred as planned.

"We had this first part of the package distribution completed within our expectations, without any changes in the course of the planning. Now we are preparing for the second stage, scheduled to start at 1 p.m., with the opening of the gates at the exam locations. The entire process will only conclude after the reverse escort, when the packages return to the storage point and are subsequently sent to the correction board,” explained the coordinator.

The forecast is that the conclusion of logistical activities and the reverse escort will occur by 10 p.m. (Brasília time).

Technology and national integration

For monitoring actions across the country, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security used the Sinespcard 3.0 platform, an operational management tool that allows real-time tracking of incidents and integration of data with the National Integrated Command and Control Center in Brasília.

In Pará, the operation involved the integrated action of the Civil, Military, and Scientific Police, Military Fire Brigade, State Civil Defense Coordination, State Traffic Department (Detran), Penitentiary Administration Secretariat (Seap), in addition to the agencies linked to Segup, such as the Air Group (Graesp), CIOp, and CICC.

The Federal Police, Federal Highway Police, National Public Security Force, municipal guards, municipal traffic agencies, Equatorial Energy, Brazilian Postal Service, the organizing committee of the competition, and teams from the municipal health secretariats and Samu also participated in the actions.

Candidate participation

The CPNU is considered the largest public competition ever held in the country. According to the organizing committee, Pará ranks seventh in the number of registered candidates, with 761,528 candidates distributed across 17 municipalities: Belém, Ananindeua, Barcarena, Cametá, Bragança, Breves, Tucuruí, Marabá, Altamira, Santarém, Monte Alegre, Oriximiná, Redenção, Santana do Araguaia, São Félix do Xingu, Itaituba, and Parauapebas.
