Arcon opens simplified selection process with 62 vacancies for high school and higher education
Salaries range from R$1,498.72 to R$6,088.15 to work in the Metropolitan BRT, sanitation, and natural gas
The Regulatory and Control Agency for Public Services of the State of Pará (Arcon) announced the opening of the Simplified Selection Process No. 2/2025 for hiring professionals with high school and higher education focused on the regulation, control, and inspection of the Metropolitan BRT, sanitation, and natural gas. Applications can be made between October 10 and 14, exclusively at the electronic address www.sipros.pa.gov.br.
The announcement is available on the website www.arcon.pa.gov.br. According to the document, the salary ranges from R$1,498.72 to R$6,088.15, plus food assistance and educational bonuses, depending on the chosen position. The work schedule is 40 hours per week, and the location will be in Belém.
The process is divided into three stages: the first phase refers to registration, which is qualifying; the second phase involves document and curriculum analysis, which is eliminatory and classificatory; and the third phase consists of an interview, with the presentation of supporting documentation, also eliminatory and classificatory.
According to the director of Metropolitan Transport at Arcon, Gilberto Barbosa, the selected candidates will be able to develop activities with various levels of complexity, ranging from the inspection of service operations in the Metropolitan BRT to the planning and implementation of new technological functionalities for the integrated system.
“Arcon is the manager of the Metropolitan BRT, which will have two concessionaires, one operating the lines and the other managing the ticketing system. All monitoring will be done in an Operational Control Center that will enable real-time monitoring,” explains the director.
The sanitation and natural gas sectors, regulated, controlled, and inspected by Arcon, will also receive reinforcement with the hiring of new professionals.
There are 45 vacancies for the position of public services controller (high school with experience in information technology) and five for assistant in public services regulation (high school). The opportunities for higher education include six vacancies for regulatory support analyst for public services and another six for public services regulation analyst.
Among the requirements for the vacancies is a higher education degree in any course, as well as specific areas such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Economic Sciences, and Architecture and Urbanism.
