Government of Pará details mobility operation for COP30 in partnership with Federal Government and City Hall of Belém
Integrated plan ensures dedicated lines for accredited participants, exclusive points for taxis and apps, and connection with districts and Metropolitan Region during the conference
The Government of Pará, in partnership with the Federal Government and the City Hall of Belém, presents the special mobility scheme for the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30), planned to ensure quick and organized transportation between accommodations, terminals, and the City Park, the event's venue.
The plan includes exclusive lines for accredited participants in the Blue Zone, extended hours of operation throughout the conference, integration with the municipal bus network, and exclusive stopping points for taxis and apps, as well as connections with districts and municipalities in the Metropolitan Region. The special service will be restricted to those accredited by the UNFCCC or holders of a confirmation letter.
The operation includes connections with Icoaraci, Outeiro, Mosqueiro, and connecting municipalities in the Metropolitan Region, facilitating the movement of participants and workers. The Government of Pará is also coordinating logistics with state mobility and security agencies to reinforce the fleet, monitor traffic, and provide intermunicipal support.

Taxis, apps, and private vehicles - To organize boarding and disembarking around the City Park, exclusive stopping points for taxis and transport apps have been defined, as well as marked areas for private vehicles, such as cars, vans, and buses. There will be no parking at the event site; boarding/disembarking will be rotating and supervised.
Those not on the dedicated routes can use the municipal bus network, with recommended disembarking points near the Park's access. The plan also encourages the use of bicycles, with bike lanes/cycle paths and bike racks near the entrance of the Blue Zone.
