Usinas da Paz celebrate Children's Month with special programming for families
Recreational, cultural, and inclusive activities are offered to children and adults since the beginning of October in all UsiPaz
Children's Month is celebrated with joy and fun in the 17 Usinas da Paz throughout Pará. Since the beginning of October, the units have received special programming aimed at families, with recreational, cultural, and educational activities that reinforced the commitment of the Government of Pará to promote citizenship, leisure, and social inclusion.
Games, artistic performances, workshops, sports, and inclusive recreation spaces were part of the programming, which brought together hundreds of children and their families.
At the Usina da Paz Jurunas/Condor in Belém, nurse Mara Minea, mother of Henrique, 4 years old, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), approved the activities and emphasized the importance of the moment for families. “It was a very special day. My son had a lot of fun here at the pool, participated in the games, and was very happy. It is gratifying to see actions like this that welcome all children with so much care and inclusion,” said Mara.
Autonomous worker Débora de Moraes, 36 years old, took her daughter to enjoy the programming at the Usina da Paz Icuí-Guajará in Ananindeua. “I brought my 8-year-old daughter to participate in these activities that are very important because children need to feel welcomed. They need this fun and leisure. It is very important for families,” she stated.
Cinema - The Usina da Paz in Marabá, in southeastern Pará, received a visit from students of the São Francisco School for a special program that began with the screening of an educational and recreational film. Afterwards, the children participated in activities in the pool, enjoying moments of leisure and fun in a group.
The Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga, highlighted the importance of actions aimed at childhood. “The Usinas da Paz are a space of welcome and opportunity for the whole family. In this special month, we celebrate children with a lot of affection and reinforce our commitment to ensure that they have access to culture, education, and leisure,” emphasized the head of Seac.
