Civil Police Stations reinforce staff and maintain on-call regime during the Nazarene season
Inspection in bars, restaurants, and similar establishments; combating noise pollution and disturbance of public peace, in addition to legal guidance, are among the services guaranteed at the PCPA units.
The Civil Police of Pará is part of the planning of actions executed by the Security System agencies in the "Operation Círio 2025", coordinated by the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), in order to ensure tranquility for pilgrims and tourists during the processions and events of the Nazaré Festivity.
The PCPA operates with operational actions to ensure service to the population 24 hours a day, including general police procedures; inspection in bars, restaurants, and similar establishments; combating noise pollution and disturbance of public peace, in addition to necessary legal guidance.
"Our police teams have already started their operations since the beginning of the week, with the aim of ensuring extra reinforcement in the units that make up the route of the processions and events of Círio, as well as providing better service to the people of Pará and those arriving in the capital to participate in the Círio de Nazaré. Police from various Directorates of the Civil Police are prepared for any type of eventuality, so that everything occurs normally," emphasized the general delegate of the Civil Police, Raimundo Benassuly.

Reinforcement - The Metropolitan Police (DPM), the Vulnerable Groups Assistance (DAV), the Specialized Police (DPE), and the Administrative Police (DPA) will have reinforcement in staff to better serve the population.
Since last Monday (6), some units of the DPM have already started reinforcing service to ensure the safety of pilgrims from various municipalities, who arrive in the capital walking along the BR-316 Highway and Almirante Barroso Avenue. "DPM units will operate on a 24-hour on-call basis to maintain service to the population, which will remain in the capital and the Metropolitan Region. The Urban Sections of São Brás, Comércio, Sacramenta, Marambaia, Icoaraci, and Mosqueiro will be open for in-person reporting of occurrences. The Sections of Ananindeua, Cidade Nova, and Marituba, as well as the Benevides Police Station, will also continue to operate. The other police stations, which operate on a regular schedule, will remain closed during the weekend," informed delegate Daniel Castro, head of the DPM.
Throughout the programming of the Nazaré Festivity, there will be police reinforcement at the Tourist Protection Police Station (DPTur), in the Specialized Division for Environmental and Animal Protection (Demapa), in the Organized Crime Repression Division (DRCO), and in the Police Station for Fan Protection and Major Events (DPTGE) - the latter will operate 24 hours. "The units of the DPE will operate every day of the Festivity and, especially during the events on Saturday, including the Círio Fluvial and Moto Romaria, the PC will ensure reinforcement at the River Police Station (DPFlu) and at the Vehicle Theft and Robbery Repression Police Station (DRFVA). The Demapa will act in the inspection of complaints about noise pollution," highlighted delegate Evandro Araújo, head of the DPE.
Specialized service - The DAV will also have reinforcement in the units and will provide 24-hour service to ensure specialized assistance to women, children, and adolescents. "The DEAMs of Belém, Icoaraci, and Ananindeua, and the DATA of Belém will operate on a 24-hour basis with reinforcement in police staff. Our focus is to provide more security, support, and specialized assistance to these vulnerable groups, if necessary," pointed out delegate Emanuela Amorim, head of the DAV.
According to Magno Costa, head of the DPA, there will be service for complaints about parties held without authorization, which should be reported to the DPA's functional phone, "as well as to other directorates of the PCPA. We will also operate on-call with police working 24 hours, conducting inspections of parties or establishments that operate irregularly and without the necessary authorizations issued by the DPA. Any complaints about this issue can be made through the number (91) 99988-5923."
For reporting occurrences, civil police officers will also operate in an integrated manner with other agencies of the Public Security System at the Mobile Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC), linked to Segup, and installed at Largo do Redondo, for operation during the Trasladação and the Círio. The Mobile CICC linked to the Municipal Guard of Belém, near Praça Santuário, will operate throughout the Nazaré Festivity.
