Castle of Dreams Hospital promotes playful activity for children
The Humanization Commission emphasizes that care for patients goes beyond medical treatment
The Public General Hospital of Castle of Dreams (HGPCS) celebrated Children's Day with playful activities that involved colors and a lot of fun on Monday, the 13th.
The action, promoted by the Humanization Commission, took place in the hospital's pergola — a welcoming space full of nature, implemented through the Brazil Seal Project, which has been transforming the hospital environment into a more humanized and pleasant place for patients and staff.
During the activity, the children had fun with toys, painting materials, and artistic face painting, done with great care by the team. There were also snacks, music, gift-giving, and a moment of fellowship that delighted everyone.
Daniele Evangelista, mother of little Manuela, expressed her joy at seeing her daughter participating in the event. “I was very happy to see my daughter and the other children playing, smiling, and being so well received. This action was very beautiful,” she said. Rosana Gomes, mother of Eloá, shared the same sentiment. “I really liked the event; it was excellent. The hospital deserves congratulations,” she stated.
Social worker Jeane Taveira highlighted the importance of the moment for strengthening the bond between the team and patients. “These actions bring lightness to the hospital environment and show that care goes beyond treatment. Seeing the smiles of the children and families motivates us to continue promoting increasingly human and welcoming care,” she commented.
Initiatives like this reinforce the hospital's commitment to comprehensive care, which goes beyond clinical assistance — providing support, well-being, and moments of joy to those who need it most.
About the hospital - With 34 beds, both operational and non-operational, the Public General Hospital of Castle of Dreams is a regional reference for low-complexity care. The unit offers consultations, exams, surgeries, and follow-ups in seven medical specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine.
Belonging to the Government of Pará, the hospital has been consolidating itself as a safe haven for the local population, always focusing on social inclusion and ethical, humanized, and qualified care.
