Sefa seizes 36 thousand bottles of alcoholic cocktail and 10 tons of açaí
Seizures occurred in Conceição do Araguaia and São Geraldo do Araguaia. Tires and travel bags were also seized in Óbidos.
Inspection carried out by the team from the Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa) seized, on Wednesday (15), 36 thousand bottles of alcoholic cocktail, merchandise valued at R$ 240,449.99. The action took place on the PA-447 highway, km 15, in Conceição do Araguaia, southeast of the State. The state revenue inspectors are assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Araguaia.
"The truck driver presented a fiscal document regarding 36 thousand bottles of beverage. The goods originated in Pinheiro Preto (SC) and were destined for Boa Vista (RR). The state revenue inspectors consulted the recipient's registration and noticed that the company is suspended, therefore, it cannot acquire goods," explained the unit coordinator, Renato Couto.
A Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was drawn up in the total amount of R$ 194,026.03, referring to the tax and fine collection, and the goods were retained.
Açaí - During an inspection carried out at the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of São Geraldo do Araguaia, also on the 15th, 10 tons of frozen açaí were seized, valued at R$ 170,000.00. The cargo left the municipality of Santa Bárbara do Pará/PA destined for the State of São Paulo/SP.
"The invoice was issued by a company from Pará. After document analysis and consultations with Sefa's systems, it was found that the taxpayer had their differentiated tax regimes revoked and failed to collect the ICMS related to the goods subject to anticipation upon leaving the State of Pará, as determined by current legislation," informed coordinator Renato Couto.
A Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was drawn up in the amount of R$ 28,560.00, already considering ICMS and fine.
Tires – At the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Sefa in Tapajós, state revenue inspectors also seized, on Wednesday, 149 tires of various models and 12 travel bags, valued at R$ 72,991.54. The seizure occurred in the municipality of Óbidos/PA.
"The Sefa team, together with the Military Police, seized the goods, which were hidden in the hold of a vessel coming from the city of Manaus/AM and were being transported without fiscal documentation," reported coordinator Roberto Mota.
Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs) were drawn up in the amount of R$ 27,843.89.
