Government of Pará signs service order for new sports complex in Ourém
This initiative is part of the Sports and Leisure Squares program throughout Pará and marks another step in the commitment to bring quality sports infrastructure to the people of Pará.

During the ceremony for the delivery of the waterfront of the municipality of Ourém, this Friday (17), the government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), also signed the service order for the construction of the new Sports and Leisure Complex in the municipality, as part of the Sports and Leisure Squares program throughout Pará. This initiative marks another step in the commitment to bring quality sports infrastructure to the people of Pará.
The program provides for the development of 40 sports facilities in various regions of the State, with the first phase covering 20 municipalities. With this signing, Ourém becomes part of this structuring network of leisure and sports, alongside other cities already benefited this week.
Structure of the Complex
Each complex will feature a complete package of sports and social infrastructure, including a synthetic grass soccer field, covered multipurpose court, sand court, skate park, outdoor gym, walking track, and community kiosks.
The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, emphasized the work of progress for the State. “Today, we are very pleased to deliver this important work, which expands the urbanization of the municipality's waterfront, making this environment better, more beautiful, and strengthening the economy, commerce, leisure, and tourism in the city. With this, we contribute to the organization of the municipality's growth, alongside so many other works. Our desire is to continue working in partnership with the municipality, advancing and making Ourém better and better,” said the governor.

According to the State Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, this signing, this time in Ourém, reinforces the commitment of the government of Pará, through Seel, to the interiorization of public sports policies, enhancing the quality of life in municipalities and promoting social inclusion through sports. “With this service order, we are fulfilling another commitment to bring sports, leisure, and citizenship to all corners of Pará. The new complex in Ourém will be a space for community interaction and an opportunity for young people and adults to develop through sports practice,” emphasized the secretary.
