Citizenship Caravan benefits Santa Izabel and Santa Maria do Pará with over 3,000 services
Semu's program reinforces the commitment of the Government of Pará to ensure access, dignity, and inclusion in all territories

The State Secretariat for Women (Semu) carried out another stage of the Citizenship Caravan, bringing public policies and citizenship services to hundreds of women and families in the municipalities of Santa Izabel do Pará and Santa Maria do Pará. The actions totaled over 3,000 services and reinforced the commitment of the Government of Pará to ensure access, dignity, and inclusion in all territories.
During the activities, essential services were offered to the population, such as: 2nd copy of birth, marriage, and death certificates, 1st and 2nd copies and changes of CPF; issuance of Identity Card; digital services, such as Digital CTPS, 2nd copy of CPF, registration regularization, 2nd copy of voter registration, issuance of the Sinpatinhas Card (Pet ID), SUS Card, and Senior Citizen Card, in addition to eyebrow design and gel nail workshops and educational lectures on the Maria da Penha Law.

For the State Secretary for Women, Paula Gomes, the Caravan represents the living presence of the State in the territories. “Each caravan is a concrete gesture of care and commitment from the Government of Pará to the population. It is the State acting in an integrated manner, focusing on ensuring that the rights of women and the population in general are not restricted to large cities. We are decentralizing citizenship and strengthening local protection networks,” she emphasized.
More than a traveling action, the Citizenship Caravan is a space that allows women to fully exercise their citizenship. The integration between documentation services, guidance, and training activities breaks geographical and social barriers, ensuring that rights reach those who need them most.

The next editions of the Caravan are already confirmed: Paragominas (20 and 21/10), Bujaru (23 and 24/10), Cametá (30, 31/10 and 01/11), Barcarena (03 and 04/11), and Nova Esperança do Piriá (11 and 12/11).
“Our goal is that no woman is left behind. Wherever there is a woman needing to be heard, guided, or served, Semu will be present,” reinforced Paula Gomes.
The action is part of the strategy of the State Secretariat for Women within the Citizenship, Justice, and Human Rights Program, which works to expand the access of the population, especially women in vulnerable situations, to public policies and services of the Government of Pará.
