Uepa Biomedical Students Encourage Blood Donation
The initiative, held at CCBS, is in partnership with the Hemopa Foundation, as part of the campaign 'At COP30, sustain life. Donate blood'
The Center for Biological and Health Sciences (CCBS) at the State University of Pará (Uepa), through the Biomedical class of 2025, launched a blood donation campaign on Tuesday (21), in partnership with the Hemopa Foundation. The action, supported by the coordination of the Biomedical course, aims to mobilize students, staff, and the community at large about the importance of donation.

The action at CCBS also reinforces the reach of the campaign “At COP30, sustain life. Donate blood,” launched by the Hemopa Foundation, which encourages voluntary blood donation in commitment to sustainability.
Those interested can go to CCBS/Campus II, located at Travessa Perebebuí, No. 2,623, Marco neighborhood, in Belém. In addition to contributing to saving lives, participating university students will receive a certificate of 15 hours for mobilizing in favor of blood donation.
