The Government of Pará, through the State Department of Education (Seduc), transfers this Wednesday (22) about R$ 50 million to 708 schools in the state public network, referring to another installment of the Paraense School Money Program (Prodep), for 2025. The resources will be available directly in the accounts of the eligible units, ensuring more autonomy and agility in executing improvements in schools.

The Program ensures schools the freedom to apply the resources according to their needs and priorities. Among the actions that can be carried out are repairs to infrastructure, acquisition of pedagogical and technological equipment, sustainable initiatives, climate control of school spaces, and reinforcement of school meals. The goal is to make the school environment more welcoming, efficient, and conducive to quality learning.

Prodep guarantees resources to improve the school environment

Vice Governor Hana Ghassan highlighted the importance of Prodep. "This is a very important Program, as it contributes to the decentralization of resources, ensuring that the money reaches its goal faster, which is to care for and maintain our schools," she emphasized.

Commitment - The State Secretary of Education, Ricardo Sefer, reinforced the Government's commitment to improving public education. "The Program helps in caring for schools, improving the learning of our students, and creating a better working environment for all education professionals. We continue to work for our network," stated the head of Seduc.

Since 2023, the Government of Pará has been transforming the reality of public schools with Prodep. With the new installment, R$ 90 million has already been allocated just in 2025, benefiting school units in all regions of the State.

Criteria – The transfer of funds is conditioned on the presentation of the Financial Application Plan (PAF), prepared by the executing units, represented by the School Councils, after extensive listening and participation from the school community.

The list of state schools covered by Prodep will be available on the Seduc website starting Wednesday (22) - www.seduc.pa.gov.br, in the PRODEP tab
