Modernization works at the Guamá Citizenship Station progress and reach 75%
The main objective is to offer, in one location, a wide variety of free services that facilitate the daily lives of the population and make their daily demands more efficient.

The government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad), remains committed to ensuring quality public services for the people of Pará. As part of this commitment, the modernization works at the Guamá Citizenship Station in Belém have already reached 75% completion.
With each stage, the works progress, transforming the Guamá Citizenship Station into a more modern, accessible, and welcoming space for the entire community. The main objective is to offer, in one location, a wide variety of free services that facilitate the daily lives of the population and make their daily demands more efficient.

“We have already reached 75% completion of the modernization works at the Guamá Citizenship Station and we continue to advance with responsibility and planning to deliver a completely renovated, modern, accessible, and welcoming space. The goal is for the community to have easy access to various free services in one location, which help resolve daily demands in a more practical and efficient manner. This work reflects the government's concern in bringing citizens closer to public services and ensuring dignified and humanized care,” stated Seplad's technical advisor, André Pontes.
Driver Edilton Silva has used the services of the Guamá Citizenship Station several times and praised the service, the space, and the availability of services in one location.
“It’s great to have an environment with several service points. Our time is tight, and if we can resolve various everyday situations in one place, it will help a lot. I am very eager for the place to be even more modernized and expedited,” he stated.
Among the agencies planned for the unit are the State Department of Traffic of Pará (Detran); the State Secretariat of Social Assistance, Labor, Employment, and Income of Pará (Seaster); the Civil Police (PC); Banpará, and the Institute of Assistance for State Servants of Pará (Iasep). They will offer services such as: issuance of documents (ID, digital work card); Detran services (driver's licenses and vehicles); as well as services from Iasep (health), Seaster (unemployment insurance and job market), and the Public Defender's Office (legal guidance).

Thus, the Guamá Citizenship Station further expands the range of available services, offering more practicality and security for those in need of essential services, gathered in one place.
The works at the Guamá Citizenship Station continue with the aim of making it a reference point in the provision of public services to the population. The initiative aims to expand access to quality services, promote inclusion and citizenship, and directly contribute to the development of the state and the improvement of the quality of life of its inhabitants.
For market vendor Jacirene Teles, who has been working in front of the Station for eleven years, the modernization will bring benefits both for citizens using the services and for vendors operating nearby, providing more comfort, movement, and opportunities for all.
“With the modernization, it will greatly improve for the people who use the services and for us vendors. I have already used several services at the Station, such as the energy company’s service and the Post Office. With the modernization, the situation will improve and help the population a lot,” Jacirene shared.
The unit is also undergoing internal interventions, including the replacement of flooring, ceiling, painting, and adjustments to the air conditioning. Additionally, the environment will be expanded, making the space even more prepared to serve the population with comfort and dignity.
