Construction of daycare in Magalhães Barata is already in the final phase
The new public facility will expand access to Early Education, offering a modern and structured space to accommodate up to 200 children aged 0 to 5 years

Vice-Governor Hana Ghassan and the Deputy Secretary of Infrastructure of the State Department of Education (Seduc), Lázaro Cézar, visited on Wednesday (22) the construction works of the daycare in the municipality of Magalhães Barata, in northeastern Pará. The unit is part of the unprecedented program "Daycares All Over Pará," created by the state government to expand and ensure access to public education from early childhood. With the Program, the Government's goal is to build units in all 144 municipalities.

Hana Ghassan said she was grateful "to God, first of all, for us being here today, and to tell you that this is the last technical inspection carried out by our team. I am here with the Deputy Secretary of Education, Lázaro, who is in charge of the construction of these daycares. He is with the team reviewing what needs to be checked, if everything is working, like the electrical part. We will schedule the inauguration date. I am very anxious because we are in a hurry, because a child's place is in daycare. A child's place is inside the school, and we want to give a kiss here, which is full of children, taking advantage not only of the space but all the opportunities that a daycare brings to children's lives."
With an investment of R$ 3,244,381.73, the daycare will offer a spacious and modern structure, providing living spaces such as a nursery/breastfeeding area, multipurpose room, classrooms, bathrooms, changing room, teachers' room, court, sand playground, garden, and other environments.

Benefited municipalities - So far, 12 daycares have been delivered in the municipalities of Belém, Oriximiná, Ananindeua, Benevides, Redenção, Cumaru do Norte, Bannach, Almeirim, Melgaço, Curuçá, Marabá, and Igarapé-Açu.
The "Daycares All Over Pará" program aims to benefit around 30,000 families, mainly mothers in situations of social vulnerability, who need to return to the job market. More than R$ 400 million will be invested in the construction of 150 daycares throughout the state, to serve children aged 0 to 5 years. In municipalities with higher population density, two structures will be built.
