Marabá hosts the final stage of the Paraense Skate Street Circuit 2025 this weekend

Competition promoted by the Government of Pará brings together more than 100 athletes and defines qualifiers for the Brazilian Skate Championship

The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), is holding this weekend, on October 25 and 26, the 3rd and final stage of the Paraense Skate Street Circuit 2025, at Praça Monsenhor Baltazar, in Marabá, southeast of the State. The program starts at 8 a.m. and promises to energize the regional sports scene with the presence of more than 100 athletes from various age groups.

The competition is a qualifier for the Brazilian Skate Championship, which will be held in the states of Paraná and Mato Grosso, and is in partnership with the Paraense Skate Federation (FPS).

Incentive for sports and the formation of new talents

The State Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, highlighted the relevance of the final stage of the circuit and the role of the event in valuing and developing the sport in Pará.

“The Paraense Skate Circuit has been a showcase for our athletes and an incentive for sports in all regions. This qualifying phase is essential for the skateboarders from Pará to secure their presence in national competitions and showcase the talent we have spread throughout the State,” emphasized the secretary.

Program and categories

On Saturday (25), the event starts with registration and track recognition from 8 a.m. On Sunday (26), registration for the categories also begins at 8 a.m., followed by warm-up for the male children's category at 9 a.m. and the official start of the competitions at 9:05 a.m.

The categories are divided by age group:

  • Children: 6 to 8 years
  • Junior: 9 to 12 years
  • Beginner: 13 to 16 years
  • Amateur: 16 to 30 years
  • Master: 32 to 40 years

The Paraense Skate Street Circuit is one of the main actions of Seel aimed at promoting urban sports and social inclusion, encouraging sports practice among children, youth, and adults in all regions of the State.
