The Pará Economic Development Company (Codec) is participating from October 27 to 30 (Monday to Thursday) in Exposibram Bahia, held at the Salvador Convention Center, bringing together major national and international players linked to mining, industrial innovation, logistics, and new productive chains. The presence reinforces the positioning of the Government of Pará in direct dialogue with the private sector to attract investments and expand the productive capacity of the State.

As part of the institutional mission, two technical visits to the interior of Bahia have already been confirmed, coordinated by the Company. The first is to a large fertilizer company, which will receive the team directly at its industrial plant, with air travel provided by the corporation itself. The second agenda involves a mining company, focused on institutional strengthening and deepening expansion opportunities for the Pará territory.

Building bridges - According to the Director of Investment Attraction and Business at Codec, Manoel Ibiapina, the Company's participation plays an essential role in the industrial prospecting effort led by the State. "Codec's presence in a strategic environment like Exposibram demonstrates that Pará does not wait for demand to arrive; it anticipates and seeks the investor where they are. When the company participates in these agendas, it creates bridges, accelerates negotiations, and prepares the ground for concrete implementation decisions," emphasized the director.

Codec's role at Exposibram is not only institutional but directly aimed at attracting productive investments. The Company participates to bring new industries to Pará, bringing the State closer to business groups with real implementation capacity. This articulation accelerates decisions, expands opportunities, and results in what is Codec's main objective: to attract business, generate jobs, income, and sustainable economic development for the State.

Available infrastructure - Pará also presents a decisive competitive differential in the attraction process: the State has active industrial districts, with installed infrastructure and areas suitable for productive expansion, with excellent and strategic location, close to the main transport modalities of the State, including ports. This scenario makes the territory immediately viable for receiving new plants, reducing entry time and offering security to the investor.

During the program, the technical team follows panels, business rounds, and thematic meetings focused on sustainability, territorial competitiveness, and innovation applied to industry. With this participation, Codec reaffirms the commitment of the Government of Pará to consolidate a safe, structured, and competitive environment for new ventures, strengthening industrialization and economic development.
