Military Police of Pará stands out in the 20th national edition of Operation Total Force
In the State, the action involved the effort of 5,130 military police officers and 2,077 two and four-wheeled vehicles, which operated in all regions of Pará.
The Military Police participated in the 20th edition of Operation Total Force – Military Police at the Service of Brazil, held on October 16 and 17 across the country. The national action, which mobilized 118,551 military police officers and 41,685 vehicles, aimed to intensify the fight against crime and reinforce the sense of security among the population.
In Pará, the operation involved the effort of 5,130 military police officers and 2,077 two and four-wheeled vehicles, which operated in all regions of the State. The actions included approaches to people, cars, and motorcycles, with increased visible policing in strategic areas, both urban and rural.
The balance of the actions indicates 62 arrests in flagrant, 85 people taken to the police station, 7 adolescents apprehended, and 10 court orders executed. There were also 21 Circumstantial Occurrence Terms (TCOs) filed, 36 firearms seized, 16.8 kilograms of drugs, and 37 vehicles, in addition to the recovery of 23 stolen vehicles.
Coordinated by the National Council of Military Police Commanders (CNCGPM), the operation achieved significant results throughout Brazil: 3,537 arrests in flagrant, 364 adolescents apprehended, 280 firearms removed from circulation, over 113 tons of drugs seized, and 749 vehicles recovered.
The general commander of the Military Police of Pará, Colonel Sérgio Neves, emphasized the corporation's prominence and the State's commitment to public safety.
“Pará has proven to be a reference in integrated and strategic operations, reinforcing the State Government's commitment to combating crime and protecting our population,” he stated.
