The coordination of security forces and partner agencies ensured normalcy on the first day of the National High School Exam (Enem), this Sunday (9), in 86 municipalities in Pará. The actions were coordinated by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), and the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP).

With a force of more than 4,000 public security agents, the

acting in an integrated manner, the Enem 2025 Operation ensured security in the escort of the exam transport, around the locations, and in the organization of traffic on the main access roads to the institutions where the exams were held. During the actions, two incidents were recorded by the Civil Police: an attempt of fraud in a public competition and another atypical fact with a cell phone found in a school bathroom.

Agents monitored the surroundings of the exam locations

Within the planning - According to the Deputy Secretary of Operations of Segup, Colonel PM Ed-Lin Anselmo, the actions achieved the planned success, without major incidents from the escorts of the packages to the exam locations, and throughout the monitoring.

According to Colonel PM Ed-Lin Anselmo, "the first day of the Enem exam, which this time, due to COP30, was held in 86 municipalities in the interior of the State, occurred as expected with the escorts, visible policing, and monitoring. We are finalizing the reverse escorts and, so far, everything has been calm. The incidents recorded in the security context were related to cell phones found, one with a candidate and another inside a bathroom, and all necessary measures were taken immediately. The operation ensured a good exam for those who registered, and a calm shift for the agents who were ready to respond to any demand."

Cell phone with the object holder violated

Incidents - The agents recorded an attempt of fraud in a public competition at a school in the municipality of Cametá (Tocantins Integration Region, in the northeast), after a student was identified with a cell phone in their pocket, and the object holder that had been sealed was already violated, containing only the cover of the device. The candidate was immediately disqualified from the exam, and the fact was recorded in the minutes by the local coordination. The Civil Police opened an inquiry to investigate the case.

Another incident was recorded in Uruará (Xingu Integration Region, in the west), where a cell phone was found in a school bathroom. The monitors handed the device over to the civil police, who are investigating the matter.

The Military Police were called to a situation involving disturbance of the peace near a school in the municipality of Curuçá (Guamá Integration Region, northeastern Pará). The team went to the location and the situation was normalized.

Agents worked throughout the day, finishing with the reverse escort of the packages

Regarding incidents related to power supply outages or fluctuations, nine occurrences were recorded in six municipalities: Bragança (northeast), Soure, São Sebastião da Boa Vista, and Oeiras do Pará (in Marajó), Mocajuba (northeast), Senador José Porfírio (west), and Santa Izabel do Pará (Metropolitan Region of Belém). All situations were resolved without hindering the conduct of the Enem.

The operation was concluded at night, with the reverse escort of the exam packages to the security centers, from where they will be sent to São Paulo (SP), where they will be corrected.
