The tool is available on the Sefa website www.sefa.pa.gov.br
Starting this November, the Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa) has begun to offer, on its website, the Municipal Share Panel, a digital platform that provides the general public, and especially municipal public managers, with information about the revenues from state and federal taxes transferred to the municipalities of Pará, in a transparent and accessible manner.
The tool is available on the Sefa website (www.sefa.pa.gov.br) and consolidates financial data and participation indices. "The aim of the Municipal Share Panel is to democratize access to information, making it available without the need for bureaucratic processes. It is another product that the Tax Authority presents in pursuit of fiscal transparency in the State of Pará, facilitating the monitoring of resources for the municipalities of Pará," informs the Secretary of Finance, René Sousa Júnior.
Content - The Panel offers the visualization of the following data for the municipalities of Pará:
Municipal Participation Indices (IPM): The percentages that define the share that each municipality receives in the distribution of ICMS and IPI revenues;
Value Added (VAF) of the Municipalities: The crucial economic indicator that underpins much of the calculation of the Municipal Participation Index (IPM) related to ICMS.
ICMS Transfers to Municipalities: Financial transfer amounts of the Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services - ICMS, including the portion allocated to Fundeb.
IPI-Export Transfers to Municipalities: Amounts related to the financial transfers from the Union of the Tax on Industrialized Products - IPI.
IPVA Transfers to Municipalities: Financial transfer amounts of the Tax on the Ownership of Motor Vehicles - IPVA, including the portion allocated to Fundeb.
Benefits – The Panel is updated several times a day and can be accessed from anywhere at any time, requiring only an internet connection.
