'Carimbó do Meu Pará' energizes Estação das Docas with five days of cultural attractions
The presentations, from the 19th to the 23rd of this month, will take place daily from 5 PM to 10 PM
Estação das Docas will host, from November 19 to 23, the special programming of the project "Carimbó do Meu Pará", which celebrates the musicality and Amazonian traditions with free and open presentations to the public. Over five days, regional groups will take the stage at the Anfiteatro São Pedro Nolasco to highlight the strength of Amazonian culture and rhythms. The Pará brega will also be featured at the event.
The programming will occur daily from 5 PM to 10 PM. The event is sponsored by Equatorial Pará and has institutional support from the Social Organization Pará 2000, which manages Estação das Docas, the Cultural Foundation of the State of Pará, through the Semear Law, in addition to the State Government.
“We are very happy to carry out this partnership that strengthens Pará's culture, especially during this important period of COP30, as it not only offers an option for residents to value their roots, but the programming also becomes a showcase for groups to present their work to people from different cultures. I am sure everyone will be delighted. We invite everyone in Belém to enjoy the programming,” emphasizes Fernanda Scaramuzzini, Marketing, Communication, and Culture coordinator of OS Pará 2000.
“Equatorial Pará is very proud to support the Carimbó do Meu Pará project. This initiative reaffirms our commitment to valuing the culture and artists of Pará, especially at this moment that Belém is experiencing. It is an important opportunity to strengthen our traditions and give visibility to the rhythms that are part of the Amazonian identity. We believe it will be a special weekend, with memorable performances and great public participation,” declares Michelle Miranda, social responsibility analyst at Equatorial Pará.
