Project 'Carimbó do Meu Pará' energizes the Estação das Docas with cultural attractions
For five days, the presentations will take place from 5 PM to 10 PM
The Estação das Docas will host, from November 19 to 23, the special programming of the project "Carimbó do Meu Pará", which celebrates the musicality and Amazonian traditions with free and open presentations to the public. For five days, regional groups will take the stage at the Anfiteatro São Pedro Nolasco to showcase the strength of the culture and rhythms of the Amazon.
Officially recognized by UN Tourism on May 30, 2025, as the World Capital of Brega, Belém will also highlight this rhythm in the project’s programming, with performances by major names in Pará's brega.
We are happy to carry out this partnership that strengthens Pará's culture, especially during this important period of COP30, as it not only offers an option for residents to value their roots, but also becomes a showcase for groups to present their work to people from different cultures. I am sure everyone will be enchanted. We invite everyone in Belém to enjoy the programming,” highlights Fernanda Scaramuzzini, Marketing, Communication, and Culture coordinator of OS Pará 2000.
The presentations will take place from 5 PM to 10 PM. The event is sponsored by Equatorial Pará and has institutional support from the Social Organization Pará 2000, which manages the Estação das Docas, the Cultural Foundation of the State of Pará, through the Semear Law, in addition to the State Government.
