Residents of Pará and tourists participating in the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30) have various leisure options during the extended holiday, in celebration of National Zumbi Day and Black Consciousness Day, on November 20, with state offices closed on Friday (21), coinciding with the last days of the international event in Belém.

"With the investments from the State Government, Belém is undergoing a true urban transformation with new tourist and cultural facilities. These new spaces represent not only infrastructure landmarks but real opportunities for tourism development and the appreciation of our Pará identity, which is plural and ancestral. All of this has contributed to making the capital of Pará more attractive to visitors and more welcoming for those who live here, with more opportunities for leisure spaces, thus strengthening tourism," highlights the Secretary of Tourism of Pará (Setur), Eduardo Costa.

The Pará Pavilion – Municipalities, located at the Centenário Convention Center on Augusto Montenegro Avenue in Belém, is one of the main options for a visit that combines the opportunity to learn about what the municipalities of Pará are developing within the sustainability agenda, with the cultural and gastronomic strengthening of the State. Pará presents to the world the potential of the living forest that transforms into economic opportunities in the hands of small entrepreneurs, artisans, and extractivists.

The space, which features 92 municipalities in its booths, will operate until November 21, from 2 PM to 9 PM, with free entry, no registration required. A bus line has been created to transport visitors for free from the Green Zone at Parque da Cidade to the Pará Pavilion – Municipalities. Within the complex, the Museum of the Amazons will open on special hours until Friday (21), from 10 AM to 8 PM, with the last entry at 7 PM. Starting from the 22nd (Saturday), it will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM, with the last entry at 5 PM.

Estação das Docas – Due to the COP30 event and the increase in visitor flow in Belém, Estação das Docas will operate on extended hours on November 20, 21, and 22, and 27, 28, and 29. On these dates, the tourist complex will close at 2 AM, exceptionally.

São José Liberto – Also with special hours, the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Mining, and Energy (Sedeme) informs that until November 21, due to COP30, the São José Liberto Space (ESJL) will be open to the public from 10 AM to 10 PM. The Museum of Pará Handicrafts (MAP), an unprecedented initiative from the Government of Pará during the international event, located in ESJL, operates from 4 PM to 10 PM, with free entry. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours will return to normal: from 10 AM to 6 PM and from 10 AM to 2 PM, respectively.

Museums - The State Secretariat of Culture (Secult) informs that the museums and memorials of the Integrated System will open every day from November 20 to 23, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
