On the morning of next Sunday (30), the Zoobotanical Park Mangal das Garças, in Belém, will hold another edition of the children's project Ecoarte. This week's workshop will focus on creating frames with natural elements. The program will start at 10 am in the Park's amphitheater, with free participation.

The workshop for frames with natural elements consists of producing these pieces from recycled materials. Proposed by Cumbuca - Creative Workshop, the decoration will be made with plants, flowers, and other elements found in Mangal das Garças.

“A way to combine fun, environmental education, and development, the basis of Ecoarte. With various materials, the activity invites children to think of ways to assemble their own object and to explore different textures, colors, and shapes,” informs Mayara Cohen, creator of Cumbuca.

Ecoarte is a project carried out by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Tourism (Setur) and the Social Organization Pará 2000, which manages Mangal, and aims to spread environmental education and offer culture and leisure to the child audience.
