Segup gathers over 100 servers at the Run and Walk for promoting well-being
The initiative also provided over 300 medical services in Segup agencies, the Military Fire Brigade, and Civil and Scientific police.

“We, the servers of the Security System, need moments like this, which make us feel even more belonging to the System and cared for through these practices. Organizing an event with physical activities aimed at the server is a way to care and also to integrate each agency, mixing leisure and health. Therefore, I am happy to participate in the first run and walk, and to receive encouragement to always pay attention to quality of life and physical and mental health,” said delegate Leina Souza, one of the participants of the 1st Run and Walk for the Promotion of Health and Well-Being, promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup)/Directorate of Policies and Social Prevention (DPS), and the Well-Being Project.
On the morning of this Saturday (26), approximately 100 servers from the State Public Security System (Sieds) participated in the sports and health event, a 4-kilometer route at the Portal da Amazônia, in Belém, which concluded the 1st Integrated Action for the promotion of health and well-being of Sieds servers.

Priority - The program reinforces the appreciation of the servers, one of the management's priorities, and offered lectures on health and quality of life, in addition to over 300 medical services in Segup agencies, the Military Fire Brigade, and Civil and Scientific police. The services started last Tuesday (22), concluding this Saturday (26), with the run and walk.

“We evaluate this as a very positive action with the servers and agents of the Security System in general, both for the involvement that those served had, and for fulfilling the main objective, which was to alert and guide everyone about the greater need to be attentive to health, which comes first. The servers who serve the population also need care. After all the services during the week, separated in each agency, today we had a moment of integration, more relaxed and very positive for the institutions,” stated the director of Policies and Social Prevention of Segup, delegate Ariane Santos.
Welcoming - For Captain Luana Alves, coordinator of the Well-Being Project, developed by Segup, the main objective of the initiative is to promote care for the mental and physical health of the servers. According to her, in addition to the biopsychosocial care, carried out since 2022, it is essential to promote specific actions that welcome, serve, and ensure more comprehensive care for all.

“The Project started with the focus on caring for the physical and mental health of the servers, with integrated activities in each agency, medical consultations, and care with nutritionists, psychologists, and physiotherapists. Today we concluded this first action with the realization of physical activities, making the server move, be motivated, and awaken to the importance of this self-care. We want to show how much Segup cares about the servers and has created projects aimed at the health of the server. We conclude with the certainty of the success of this first action, which made everyone feel good and welcomed,” she emphasized.
The Well-Being Project offers biopsychosocial assistance to Segup servers, their dependents, and agents of the State Public Security System. Among the activities developed are individualized psychosocial care, preventive actions, and personal and professional appreciation and development.
