Registrations open for the XXI State Junina Quadrilhas Contest 2025
Registrations can be made until May 12. The presentations will take place between June 13 and 27.
The announcement that defines the rules for the Junina Quadrilhas contest of the Arraial de Todos os Santos 2025 was published in the edition of this Monday, the 5th, of the State Official Gazette (DOE). Registrations must be made through an electronic form available at: Arraial de Todos os Santos 2025, until the next May 12.
The XXI edition of the State Junina Quadrilhas Contest is an initiative of the Government of Pará. "The Junina quadrilhas contest, just like the announcement of festivities, is another action of the State Government, through the Cultural Foundation of Pará, aimed at promoting and democratizing access to resources for the promotion of artistic and cultural goods and services and emerges as a strategy for valuing and increasing the visibility of production in the scope of Popular Culture of Pará," defines the president of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, Thiago Miranda.
This year, the total prize money for the contest amounts to approximately 570 thousand reais. The cash prizes are distributed among Junina quadrilhas, misses, markers, stylists, and choreographers, in the adult and children categories that achieve the highest scores, as described in Announcement 006/2025.
All quadrilhas registered in the State Junina Quadrilhas Contest will receive a certificate of participation in the event. The contests consider the following age groups for participation: Junina quadrilhas and child misses with a minimum age of five complete years and a maximum age of 14 complete years, up to the date of registration. Adult Junina quadrilhas and misses with a minimum age of 13 complete years, also up to the date of registration. For the diversity rural misses, the minimum age is 18 complete years, up to the date of the presentation.
PRESENTATION – The draw that will define the order of presentations of the quadrilhas and misses will be held in a hybrid format, on the next May 23, at 10 am, at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, in Belém. Each quadrilha may send a representative to accompany the process.
The registered quadrilhas may exchange dates and times determined in the draw among themselves, provided that the arrangement is communicated to the contest coordination within 48 hours from the date of the draw.
The presentations of the XXI State Junina Quadrilhas Contest will take place between June 13 and 27. The results will be announced on June 28 and the awards on June 29.
