Segup coordinates security scheme with 2,000 agents for the classic match between Remo and Paysandu
The match is part of the 1st game of the final of the Paraense Championship 2025 and is expected to gather more than 47,000 fans

The public security scheme for the classic match of Paraense football, between Remo and Paysandu, scheduled for this Wednesday, 7, at the Estádio Olímpico do Pará Jornalista "Edgar Proença", the Mangueirão, will count on about 2,000 integrated security agents. The actions will be coordinated by the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup) in conjunction with state, municipal, and federal security agencies, whose main objective is to ensure tranquility for fans and everyone who circulates and resides in the streets surrounding the stadium. The match is part of the 1st game of the final of the Paraense Championship 'Parazão 2025' and is expected to gather around 47,500 fans, with stadium gates and parking opening at 5 PM and the match starting at 9 PM.
The actions of the Public Security and Social Defense System (Sieds) will be executed in an integrated manner before, during, and after the great classic of the Amazon, both this Wednesday and next Sunday during the classic matches between Remo and Paysandu to ensure order and tranquility for everyone during the final matches of the Parazão 2025, as highlighted by the head of Segup, Ualame Machado.
“All our mobilized and integrated personnel will allow for visible policing at all strategic points of the stadium and its surroundings, thus ensuring control of the flow of people and the prevention of incidents. Within our planning, we have reinforced the actions of visible policing, but also the actions of organization aimed at ensuring traffic fluidity, constant monitoring of access areas, and efficiency in responding to and recording occurrences. For us, the priority will always be to ensure a safe and peaceful event for all fans, allowing them to enjoy the game in peace and tranquility,” stated Ualame Machado.
Security scheme - The security strategy developed includes reinforcement in policing and monitoring of access roads, maintenance of order and security in the stadium; organization of traffic flow to ensure fluidity; agility in assisting the public if there is a need to register occurrences at the Fan and Major Events Police Station and the Women's Assistance Police Station, and ensuring the right of everyone to go and come with tranquility.

The operational deployment begins in the early afternoon, being reinforced at 5 PM, when access to the parking gates and the stadium will be released for the public. The Operational Control and Command Center of Mangueirão will gather the focal points of each force, from where it will be possible to monitor the images from the cameras installed in the stadium and its surroundings, thus speeding up responses to operational demands, if necessary.
Police Units - The units installed at Mangueirão, such as the Events Police Battalion, responsible for maintaining public order at major events, will be fully operational in coordinating the visible actions of the Military Police troops, as well as the Fan and Major Events Police Station and the Specialized Women's Assistance Police Station, which will ensure assistance and agility in recording occurrences, if necessary.
What can and cannot be brought to the game
According to the deliberation of the Evaluation Commission of Conducts of Organized Fans and Security at Major Events, linked to the Public Security and Social Defense Council of Pará (Consep), for the match, fans are allowed to enter with water, up to two cups or bags, in the standard of flexible, transparent plastic, of up to 300 ml.
Regarding prohibitions, the commission banned street vendors, sound equipment, sound cars, sale of food and beverages, promotion of raves, and use of sound and DJ structures in the parking lot of Mangueirão.
The Secretary of Security, Public Order, and Mobility of Belém (Segbel) will be responsible for guidance, control, and supervision of street vendors in the areas outside the stadium.

Access to the stadium and parking
There will be no sale of parking tickets on site. The guidance is that the public purchases in advance on the websites to avoid inconveniences. Public access to the parking lots will occur through 7 gates, which will be operational for entry starting at 5 PM, with 3 on side A, all via Augusto Montenegro Avenue, and 4 on side B, via Mangueirão Avenue (Transmangueirão).
Starting at 5 PM, Mangueirão Avenue (Transmangueirão) from Av. Centenário will have a one-way direction until Gate F for access to the stadium (next to the IML). At the end of the match, the one-way direction is reversed, leading to Avenida Centenário. From Gate F to Av. Augusto Montenegro, the road will have two-way traffic and can only be accessed by passenger vehicles.

Direction Entroncamento - Icoaraci: The driver can stay in the left lane, and upon reaching the traffic light in front of Alameda Mangueirinho, enter the BRT lane to access parking on side A via the alameda and side gate of Mangueirinho.
Detran will also provide the Variable Mobile Panel (PMV) to guide drivers at the traffic light in front of Mangueirinho, aiming to guide everyone who will access the parking via Alameda Mangueirinho and the Side Gate of Mangueirinho.
Direction Icoaraci - Entroncamento: Drivers will be able to access the parking through the three gates on Side A.
Traffic - As a security measure and to ensure greater fluidity in traffic, more than 100 agents from Detran, the PMPA Highway Police Battalion, and the Municipal Secretary of Security, Public Order, and Mobility, in addition to 26 four-wheel vehicles and 08 motorcycles will act in mobility and traffic organization on the access roads and around the stadium. In both directions and roads, the agents will act in traffic organization so that vehicles can flow smoothly without causing inconvenience to the population and the audience attending the match, as well as in the pedestrian crossing in front of the stadium.

“The Security System is operating within a plan to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible and everyone can cheer with tranquility. But we want to emphasize that people should move to the stadium in advance to avoid congestion. In fact, those who will purchase access tickets to the parking, we are advising to buy in advance to have access through two exclusive gates and thus avoid the lines. Another point we have reinforced is the prohibition of glass bottles in the parking lot and inside the stadium, so we ask for everyone's cooperation to ensure order and peace in the sports venue,” stated the deputy secretary of Segup, Col. PM Ricardo Neves.
Integration - Segup teams, through the Operational and Criminal Intelligence and Analysis deputy secretaries, Graesp and Ciop; Military and Civil police, Detran, Military Fire Department, and Seap, in addition to other state agencies such as Seel, federal agencies such as the Federal Police, and also municipal agencies, Municipal Guard and Segbel integrate the planned actions.
