CIIR Entrepreneurs Fair honors mothers and offers income opportunities
Event promotes entrepreneurship, values maternal protagonism, and reinforces social inclusion during health services

The Integrated Center for Inclusion and Rehabilitation (CIIR), in Belém, through the Arts and Culture sector, concluded the 5th edition of the Entrepreneurs Fair on Thursday, May 8. The event, held from May 6 to 8 in the hall of Block C, from 8 am to 5 pm, brought together users, companions, and professionals from the institution with the aim of promoting social inclusion, encouraging entrepreneurship, and providing opportunities for income supplementation during health services. With the theme "Mothers who undertake, inspire, and shape the future," this month's edition highlighted the transformative role of atypical mothers.
Among the exhibitors was Helma de Fátima Ferreira de Sá, mother of little Pedro, 3 years old, who receives follow-up care from the CIIR's neuropediatrician. Regarding the importance of the fair, the entrepreneur stated that inclusive commerce "is essential to ensure extra income, especially for purchasing medications, which are expensive." She also highlighted the CIIR's services: "I notice that my son has evolved. Today he is a more active child." As a message to mothers facing similar challenges, Helma left a note: "You need to have courage, because each day is different from the other."

According to Denise Morais, supervisor of the Arts and Culture sector, the CIIR Entrepreneurs Fair was a success once again. "We brought the theme of Mother's Day with the 'Space for Them', where dynamics were held for mothers to play and relax. With each game, there were giveaways donated by the entrepreneurs themselves," celebrated the professional.
Approval – The fair also moved participants like Mary Almeida, 35 years old, a housewife and full-time caregiver of Bruna Vitória, 12 years old, who has cerebral palsy and has been receiving rehabilitation services from CIIR for over three years. "During the Entrepreneurs Fair, amidst my daughter's health services, there were games for mothers today, and I found it very cool, fun. It was a moment of relaxation for us mothers, who are always caring for our children. I found this activity very important. It was my first time participating, and I won a prize: a pen and a napkin. It's not easy being a mother, especially being a caregiver, but every day we achieve a victory, knowing that we are not alone. I wish a Happy Mother's Day to all mothers."
Program – The Entrepreneurs Fair is organized by the Arts and Culture sector of CIIR and takes place monthly, both at the CIIR headquarters and at the Specialized Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (Cetea).

The next edition at Cetea will take place on May 15, featuring a sale of various products, such as geek items, cosmetics, crochet, fitness fashion, art, handicrafts, and lingerie. In the morning, from 9 am to 12:30 pm, Vó Naoca and Donna Doceria will offer sweets, savory snacks, juices, truffles, and pizza. In the afternoon, from 1 pm to 5 pm, Artesanal Cestas e Biscoitos will bring cookies, cakes, breads, and chocolates.
