In homage to Mother's Day, the Hospital da Mulher do Pará (HMPA), a unit linked to the State Government, prepared a special program marked by emotion and affection. The celebration featured a musical performance organized by Murilo and Mayara Vidal, children of a patient admitted to the unit, who honored their mother with a heartfelt repertoire of voice and guitar, accompanied by friends. The touching moment, which took place last Friday (09), also involved other patients and health professionals from the reference unit in women's care.

The surprise was made possible with the support of the hospital's physiotherapy and nursing teams, who helped extend the moment to other patients in the same sector. Songs chosen for their emotional value transformed the corridors of HMPA into a welcoming environment, reinforcing the importance of affection in hospital recovery.

“It was a way for us to be close to our mother on such an important day, even in the face of hospitalization. And we wanted this tribute to reach other women as well, who are mothers and professionals doing this important work here,” said Murilo Vidal.

The mother, Mary Telma Vidal, visibly emotional, accompanied the songs with tears and smiles. “I am very grateful to God for being well cared for here. I prayed a lot to be referred to a place with good professionals, and I was. My children are wonderful, they strengthen me, they are my loves,” she declared.

In addition to the musical performance, the program also included lectures aimed at patients waiting for outpatient care. Guidance on healthy eating and women's intimate health was provided, promoting health education and well-being.

For the unit's team, the event reinforces the importance of humanization actions. “Seeing the sparkle in the patients' eyes and the lightness that music brought to the environment reinforces the importance of moments like this in hospital care,” highlighted Clara Martins, coordinator of the physiotherapy and occupational therapy service.
