Donations collected over the weekend by Hemopa will benefit up to 2,476 patients in the state
Decentralized actions reached several municipalities in Pará, reinforcing blood stocks and promoting solidarity

The Pará Hemotherapy and Hematology Center Foundation (Hemopa) held a series of blood donation campaigns on May 10 and 11, mobilizing hundreds of volunteers throughout the state. The actions took place in hemocenters, hemonuclei, and collection points, highlighting the integrated performance of the units of the State Hemorrede.
In total, 619 bags of blood were collected, with the potential to benefit up to 2,476 people in emergency procedures, surgeries, and health treatments that require transfusions.
In the capital, the Coordinating Hemocenter recorded 122 attendances and 112 collections, in addition to actions at the collection points in the Castanheira shopping mall (46 attendances and 27 collections) and Metrópole (40 and 34, respectively). Also in Belém, an external campaign was held at Dínamo Engenharia, in the Coqueiro neighborhood, with 35 volunteers and 26 bags collected.

In the municipality of Santarém, in western Pará, the activities of Mother's Day Week resulted in 157 attendances and 121 bags collected on Friday (9). On Saturday (10), the campaign at the Regional Hospital of Baixo Amazonas, in partnership with Unama and academic leagues, recorded 69 attendances and 54 bags collected. The mobilization also included a tribute to the nursing team of CHRSAN, encouraging the use of the adornment holder as compliance with NR32.
In the southeastern region of the state, the Hemocenter of Marabá conducted an external campaign in Itupiranga, gathering 117 attendances, with 100 collections made and 3 registrations in Redome (National Registry of Bone Marrow Donors). In Altamira, the local hemonucleus promoted a collection at the Serra Dourada College, with 35 donations.

Other units also significantly contributed to reinforcing the stocks of the hemorrede. The hemonucleus of Redenção collected 24 bags in an internal action and received donors from the Military Police and the Church Verbo da Vida. In Capanema, 96 attendances and 71 bags collected were recorded. Castanhal accounted for 16 attendances and 15 collections.
