New schedule for the public call for cultural project funding announced
The call is aimed at projects that involve the creation of new works, such as presentations, exhibitions, shows, performances, and artistic interventions
The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) announces a new schedule for the final selection results of the public call notice No. 002/2025 - Funding for the Creation of Cultural Projects.
The final selection results of the public call notice No. 002/2025 - Funding for the Creation of Cultural Projects will be published next Friday, the 23rd, aiming to select projects with resources from the National Aldir Blanc Policy – PNAB (Law No. 14.399/2022), amounting to 18.4 million reais for the execution of 474 cultural projects. The new schedule will be available on the cultural map website.
Executed by the FCP, the notice 02/2025 aims to select cultural projects to receive financial support to encourage the creation of works, products, goods, and cultural services from various forms of cultural expressions in the State of Pará. This policy intends to promote access and democratization of culture through the encouragement of cultural creation and production.
Projects that involve the creation of new works, products, or cultural services such as presentations, exhibitions, shows, performances, artistic interventions, showcases, artistic residencies, among other cultural actions, will be contemplated, aiming to expand the reach of cultural productions.
About the PNAB - Law No. 14.399/2022 establishes the National Aldir Blanc Policy for Cultural Funding (PNAB), based on the partnership between the Union, States, the Federal District, and Municipalities with civil society in the cultural sector, as well as respecting diversity, democratization, and universal access to culture in Brazil.
The PNAB also aims to structure the federative system of cultural financing through continuous transfers from the Union to States, the Federal District, and Municipalities.
