Regional Hospital of Caetés registers over 2,000 rehabilitation services in the first months of 2025
The number represents a growth of 1.08% compared to the same period last year, when 2,034 services were recorded

As a reference in medium and high complexity assistance in northeastern Pará, the Public Regional Hospital of Caetés (HRPC), in Capanema, performed 2,056 physiotherapeutic rehabilitation services between January and April 2025. The number indicates a growth of 1.08% compared to the same period last year, when 2,034 services were recorded, demonstrating the consistency and effectiveness of the services offered to the population.

The service plays an essential role in promoting autonomy, functionality, and quality of life for users undergoing the rehabilitation process at the unit.

Among the patients attended by the multiprofessional team of HRPC, Jessica Tainara Moura Evangelista, 23 years old, a resident of the municipality of Capanema, is undergoing rehabilitation at the unit after a tibia fracture caused by a motorcycle accident; she underwent surgery at the hospital unit in December. "The professionals are very attentive, helpful, and the sessions have been very beneficial; I no longer use crutches and can only thank the support of the professionals."

Physiotherapist Carina Alves, who closely monitored Jessica's treatment, emphasized that she. "We have been in the rehabilitation process since December of last year; the patient arrived using crutches and today is walking without support, she has had good leg strengthening, gained balance, more functionality, and quality of life," pointed out the professional.
