The 'Por Todas Elas' Program Ensures Leisure, Health, and Citizenship on the Anniversary of Igarapé-Miri
A special action by the State Government was part of the celebrations for the 129th anniversary of the municipality, celebrated this Friday (23)
On the day that the municipality of Igarapé-Miri, in northeastern Pará, celebrates 129 years of foundation this Friday (23), the State Government ensured a special program to celebrate the date with the residents. Through the "Por Todas Elas" program, the local population celebrated the city's anniversary with a large action that brought together free health, leisure, and citizenship services.

"The 'Por Todas Elas' is a program that seeks to beautify, empower, and care for Pará women. Moreover, it is a program that works on strengthening women's autonomy, the woman as an entrepreneur, so that she can help with her family's income. This program is for women, but men are also welcome to participate in this special program that celebrates the anniversary of Igarapé-Miri," said the Vice Governor of Pará, Hana Ghassan. She is the creator of "Por Todas Elas," and on this Friday, she fulfilled a series of special agendas in celebration of the city's anniversary.
During the program, the Vice Governor of Pará was honored by the local City Council with the title of miriense citizen.

Excellence in Services - Throughout the morning, a large audience gathered at Praça Sarges Barros, in the city center, to enjoy the program. In total, more than 30 services were offered for free, such as: document issuance, medical and dental care, eye exams, and frame selection for the production of prescription glasses.
There were also rapid tests for disease detection, vaccinations, health guidance for women, mammography and ultrasound exams, as well as referrals for specialized exams and consultations.
The program also ensured document issuance, aesthetics, raffle prizes, recreational activities for children, consultations and spaying exams for pets, and services provided by the State Public Defender's Office.

"My glasses were broken and I am not in a position to buy new ones. For a while, I was trying to get an eye exam, and today I took advantage of the action and managed to do it. The service was very good, and I really liked it. I had never seen an action like this here in the city. It has been great!" said resident Maria Rosetti, who took advantage of the free health services to have her eyesight examined and to start the process for her new prescription glasses for free.

Another person who took the opportunity to ensure services was teacher Damily Silva, who took her dog Mia to schedule a spaying exam. "This action is a privilege for us, right? I think it's wonderful that the people of Igarapé-Miri have this opportunity and can even bring their pets. Only those who have animals know the importance they have in our lives. This action is very important because it brings services that, many times, people do not have access to. The government deserves congratulations!" declared Damily.

Por Todas Elas - Created in 2024, the state program is an initiative of the Government of Pará to encourage discussions about the importance of women's participation and protagonism in politics, focusing on ensuring women's services and rights. The program has already traveled to municipalities in various regions of the State, ensuring approximately 100,000 services.
"Today, the Government of Pará is celebrating the 129 years of this beautiful municipality, with services through 'Por Todas Elas', this program that brings a series of services through partnerships with all government agencies and partners. This is a moment of citizenship, where the State is present to bring citizenship and service on the anniversary of Igarapé-Miri," said the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.
