Palacete Faciola hosts the exhibition Liquid Amazon, Special COP 30 this Thursday (29)
The exhibition brings together works by Rose Maiorana and Tarso Sarraf in an artistic dialogue about the preservation of the Amazon. Admission is free.

The capital of Pará, Belém, will host, starting this Thursday (29), the exhibition "Liquid Amazon - Special COP 30", which will be on display until August 3 at the Palacete Faciola Cultural Center, in the Nazaré neighborhood of Belém. Admission is free.

The exhibition features works by visual artist Rose Maiorana, in partnership with photojournalist Tarso Sarraf. The opening, this Thursday, has a schedule set for 7 PM at the venue.

The exhibited works propose a reflection on the preservation of the Amazon, through an artistic combination of paintings and photographs. Inspired by the concept advocated by sociologist Zygmunt Bauman, "liquid modernity", the exhibition invites the public to reflect on the importance of forest protection, in direct dialogue with the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 30), which will take place in Belém in November of this year.

Premiering in 2023, "Liquid Amazon" has already traveled through countries such as Belgium, Portugal, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates. In 2025, it will continue in an itinerant format with the aim of raising awareness about addressing environmental crises.
