CNH Pai D'égua reaches 500 beneficiaries in Bragança, Tracuateua, and Augusto Corrêa
The program guarantees a free Driver's License in the municipalities of Pará, contributing to various employment opportunities for income generation

The State Government continues to deliver Driver's Licenses from the CNH Pai D'égua Social Program in the municipalities. This Thursday, the 5th, it was the turn of beneficiaries from Bragança, Tracuateua, and Augusto Corrêa, in the Caeté integration region, to receive the document completely free of charge.
Considered the largest free Driver's License issuance program in Brazil, CNH Pai D'égua is benefiting 60,000 low-income people in 144 municipalities. In Bragança, about 500 licenses were delivered during the government agenda in the city.
The Deputy Governor, Hana Ghassan, carried out the deliveries and highlighted the importance of the program in the social transformation of the new drivers. “It is not cheap to pay for a Driver's License; it is a high cost that not everyone can afford. The License guarantees new opportunities. I spoke with the people who will receive the license today, and they told me they will use the CNH to generate income or to have more mobility at work; there are countless benefits,” emphasized Hana Ghassan.
Isabela Silva is from Bragança and is now qualified with her first CNH in category AB, which allows her to drive a car and a motorcycle. According to her, participating in the selection stage of the program was a challenge, as it occurred during her pregnancy. Determined to obtain the benefit, she wants to use the license to work and help support her family.

“I was happy when I was classified in the CNH Pai D'égua, and even being in the final stages of pregnancy during the legislation exam, I did not give up to not miss this unique opportunity for those who cannot afford a CNH. I seized this dream and completed it,” commented Isabela Silva.
Created to insert the qualified individuals into the job market, CNH Pai D'égua opens new fronts and work possibilities. There are various possibilities, from doing freight, driving for companies and institutions, passing a public competition that requires a license, or simply working as a taxi driver and with delivery and passenger transport apps are some of the income generation options that the program provides, starting with the guarantee of the document.

Without charging any costs to the beneficiaries, the State Government's initiative guarantees completely free issuance, as all expenses with exams, Detran fees, and driving school are covered by the State itself.
“We make a point of showing the deliveries because these are people who need this policy. These almost 500 CNHs for this region represent a lot for the State. We are also doing a special edition of the program for atypical mothers, meaning it is very important to have this focus on the population,” emphasized the general director of Detran, Renata Coelho.
