Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park offers children's beading workshop this Sunday, 8
Activity stimulates creativity and fine motor coordination. Each little one will be able to have fun using their materials to create various things
With another edition of the children's project Ecoarte, next Sunday, 08, will be marked by a lot of fun at the Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park. This week's workshop will be with beads. The event starts at 10 am and takes place around the Navigation Memorial.
With the aim of stimulating creativity and fine motor coordination, the workshop producer, Mayara Cohen, has prepared a morning filled with beads and colors. Each little one will be able to have a unique fun using their materials to create various things.
“These moments of interaction between children and the environment and with other children are extremely important for working with empathy, attention, and patience. The activities carried out in the Park aim to bring exactly that, in a recreational and healthy way,” says Mayara Cohen
The children's projects held at Mangal das Garças are promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Tourism (Setur), and carried out by the Social Organization Pará 2000, aiming to disseminate environmental education in a playful way for all children.
In addition to the special programming, the Park maintains other activities daily. Check it out:
8:30 am – Feeding the iguanas
9 am – Mini raptor tour (Tuesday to Friday)
10 am – Butterfly release (consult in advance at the ticket office)
10:15 am – Feeding the turtles
11 am – Feeding the herons
3 pm – Feeding the herons
5 pm – Owl tour (Tuesday to Friday)
5:30 pm – Feeding the herons

Ticket: Free entry. For monitored spaces (butterfly house, memorial, and lighthouse), the fee is R$ 9.00 (half: R$ 4.50).
