Security scheme for Pararraiá 2025 includes reinforcement of nearly 6,000 public agents
They will be distributed over the days of the event to ensure reinforcement in personnel and greater safety for the public attending the 4 days of programming at the Mangueirão stadium.

The State Government presents the security scheme set up for the largest São João in the Amazon, Pararraiá, coordinated by the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), along with other agencies of the State Security System. A total of 5,789 integrated public agents will be gathered, distributed over the days of the event, to ensure reinforcement in personnel and greater safety for the public attending the 4 days of programming at the Mangueirão stadium in Belém.
This year, in addition to the Integrated Mobile Command and Control Center (CICC) of Segup, the Advanced Mobile Command Post of the Military Fire Brigade will also be present to provide greater support in monitoring actions developed by public agents, as well as in emergency and urgent assistance to the public. The security units will be operational starting this Thursday (12), for the first night of the arraial and will remain on the other days of the event. About 100,000 people are expected each day to attend the attractions.
The strategically prepared scheme includes teams ready and committed to ensuring safe fun, as stated by the acting Secretary of Public Security, Cel.QOPM, Sérgio Neves.
“All planning for the event's security was elaborated and worked on in advance to ensure the safety of everyone who will attend and participate in the largest São João in the north. All this structure requires logistics and a well-executed scheme so that the security teams can act effectively and precisely, maintaining public order and safe fun for all,” said Sérgio Neves.

Safety and prevention - The teams will be on standby acting in preventive and ostensive actions, aiming to deter and inhibit crimes and criminal actions, conducting permanent rounds and patrols, with full support of 1,367 four-wheeled vehicles, 192 motorcycles, and also 42 teams from the Military Police cavalry, distributed over the four days of the event.
The Integrated Mobile Command and Control Center of Segup will be installed in the parking lot of Mangueirão, gathering the focal points of each public security agency, with the aim of centralizing actions to expedite the resolution of any unforeseen events, in addition to recording police occurrences and real-time monitoring of security cameras and artificial intelligence from the Integrated Operations Center of Segup, the Ciop, providing greater agility in communication, and also assisting in the response time to occurrences that may arise.
Activities and services - During the arraial, the ostensive patrolling of the Military Police is planned, with support from the Municipal Guard, in the location and surrounding area of the event, in addition to traffic inspection and guidance by the State Traffic Department (Detran), with support from the Highway Police Battalion (BPRV) and the Municipal Secretary of Security, Public Order and Mobility of Belém (SEGBEL), on the access roads to the Mangueirão parking lot focusing on safety and traffic flow.
At the CICCMóvel, in addition to recording occurrences and cases of lost children and adolescents, registrations and guidance for IMEIGUARD and “Alerta Pará Celular” will also be made, both tools that assist public safety in identifying stolen and robbed cell phones. The Center will also feature a Women's Assistance Totem, to assist with demands related to crimes and violence against women, enabling requests for protective measures and guidance, especially directed at victims.

The teams from the Public Policy and Social Prevention Directorate of Segup (DPS) will be gathered for the guidance and registration of cell phones in the “Alerta Pará Celular” system, and also with preventive and educational actions against violence towards vulnerable groups, children, women, LGBTQIA+, harassment and sexual exploitation, and gender violence.
The Fans and Major Events Police Station, located inside the Stadium, will gather civil police teams also with guidance actions and recording occurrences and assistance to vulnerable groups.
The Events Police Battalion will be operational with support in rounds and patrols both in the Mangueirão parking lot and in the surrounding area of the event, and also on access roads, in order to deter criminal actions and ensure greater safety for the public.
